Cooperation with Public Procurement Administration


President of the Montenegrin Chamber of Economy Vlastimir Golubović and Director of the Public Procurement Administration Ph.D. Mersad Mujević signed a Cooperation Memorandum. The signatories agree that this document represents the basis for further strengthening of the high-quality relations between the two institutions and will contribute to the realization of new joint activities.

The document states that the Public Procurement Administration and the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro have a common interest in establishing and developing mutual cooperation in order to provide high-quality and efficient development of public procurement.

Memorandum signatories agree that the cooperation is achieved through: prevention activities in order to apply the anticorruption rule and avoid conflicts of interest; initiation of amendments and adoption of regulations in the area of public procurement together with business representatives; joint organization of and support for the organization of seminars, roundtables and other professional conferences with the aim of introducing best practice in public procurement; preparing and promoting innovative public procurement etc.

The next meeting between the representatives of the two institutions will be organized soon and the Law on Public Procurement is going to be discussed.
