How it looks like ATA

The ATA Carnet is a document made up of green front and back covers and sets of color-coded counterfoils and vouchers. All sheets and covers are presented in A4 paper form and together make up a set of ATA Carnets. Number of sheets between the covers depends on the number of countries being visited, i.e temporary admission.

The ATA Carnet may be presented as follows:
1. The front green cover
2. Counterfoils (yellow, white, blue);
3. Separate vouchers (yellow, white, blue);
4. Separate continuation sheets of the General List (yellow, white, blue);
5. The back green cover
The front and back green covers always remain with the carnet and are valid for up to one year following the issuing date at the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro. Those covers may be used for several trips for the period of a year providing that the exported goods are always included in the list on the back of the front green cover i.e. on the General list.
A yellow counterfoil is exclusively used by local customs (export/re-import) and is provided for 4 trips. This talon shall remain with the carnet i.e. it is not separated from it. Additional yellow counterfoils should be supplied, if more than 4 trips are were organized.
A white counterfoil is exclusively used by foreign customs (import / re-export) and is provided for 4 trips. This talon shall remain in the carnet i.e. it is not separated from it. If more than 4 trips were arranged, additional yellow counterfoils should be supplied.
A blue counterfoil is exclusively used for customs verification upon entering and exiting the transit country and it is provided for 8 transits. This talon shall remain in the carnet i.e. it is not separated from it. When this counterfoil is used, additional sets will be supplied.
A yellow voucher (export / re-import) is perforated and during verification it is kept by customs officer when the Carnet exits from Montenegro, i.e. upon his return to Montenegro.
White voucher (IMPORT/RE-EXPORT) is perforated and during verification it is kept by the customs officer at the entry or exit from the country of temporary import.
Blue voucher (TRANSIT) is perforated and during verification it is kept by the customs officer at the entry and exit of the carnet from the transit country.
Separate continuation sheets (yellow, white, blue) are filled in if the back of the front green cover is not sufficient for a complete list of goods.
