Montenegro-Albania business forum

Business Forum and bilateral meetings between the Montenegrin and Albanian business communities were organized in Shkoder, following a joint session of the governments of the two countries. The focus of the forum, organized by the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Albania, were the promotion and development of cooperation especially in trade, tourism, energy, transport, agriculture, IT and woodworking industry. More than 150 representatives of companies and public administrations took part in the forum.

The prime ministers of Montenegro and Albania Duško Marković and Edi Rama also addressed the audience.

The presidents of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro Vlastimir Golubović and the Union of Chambers of Commerce of Albania Ines Mucostepa signed the cooperation agreement in order to promote the further development of trade and economic relations between companies of the two countries.

Investment opportunities of Albania and Montenegro were discussed by the Vice-President of the Chamber of Economy Ivan Saveljić, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania Etjen Xhafaj, the Director of the Directorate General for Economic Diplomacy and Cultural Cooperation Ana Vukadinović, the director of the Agency for Investments and Development of Albania (AIDA) Z. Sokol Nano and the director of the Montenegrin Investment Promotion Agency (MIPA) Miloš Jovanović.  

At the end of the panel, the representatives of the AIDA and MIPA signed a cooperation agreement.
