The Vice President of the Montenegrin Chamber Ivan Saveljić met with non-resident Ambassador of Brazil to Montenegro Eduardo Botelho Barbosa. The interlocutors exchanged information related to the economic trends in the two countries, mutual trade, as well as the possibility of increasing the placement of goods in the forthcoming period.
They concluded that the cooperation between the two countries should be at a higher level. One of the prerequisites to achieve this aim is to directly connect producers and importers of goods. Brazil is now one of the strongest economies in the South America, which began to record significant growth in 2003 due to increased international demand for raw materials, especially oil and coal. Brazil is recognized by the export of meat, soybeans, coffee, so the trade in these products can be an opportunity for cooperation.
The interlocutors concluded that there is an interest in better cooperation between the Chamber and the Embassy of Brazil in Belgrade, which would result in encouraging entrepreneurs for establishing and expanding mutual cooperation.
