Significant potentials for cooperation with North Macedonia

Due to the similarities and compatibility of the two economies, Montenegro and North Macedonia have plenty of opportunities for strengthening economic cooperation, increasing investments and trade, it was said at the Montenegro and North Macedonia Business Forum.

The increase in investment and trade requires resolving the remaining obstacles related to administrative framework in doing business, harmonization of regulations and the removal of technical barriers in this area.

The two countries may establish and increase cooperation in tourism, energy, agriculture, construction industry, community infrastructure, transport, as well as digitalization, ICT and innovations.

During the bilateral meetings, the representatives of the business communities had an opportunity to share ideas and opinion and explore the potentials for future cooperation.

The meeting was attended by the Prime Ministers of Montenegro and Northern Macedonia Duško Marković and Zoran Zaev with ministers, then the Chambers Presidents Vlastimir Golubović and Branko Azeski and more than 60 businessmen.
