EEN Regional Conference


Vice President of the Montenegrin Chamber Ivan Saveljić participated in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) regional conference.

The two-day event was organized by the European Entrepreneurship Network of Montenegro and was attended by more than 70 representatives of partner institutions from the region - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro. Participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and improve cooperation in order for the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises to develop more effectively and raise the level of competitiveness of the region on the EU market.

EEN represents the largest network aimed at providing business and innovation support to the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe and important international growth markets. It is currently active in 60 countries around the world and has more than 3,000 experts from 600 organizations. This project in Montenegro is aimed at providing practical information and assistance to the small and medium-sized enterprises in order to help them find business partners easier, establish cooperation, participate in tenders, access information on the legal aspects and regulations of doing business in the EU.

The EEN members are: technological parks, organizations supporting innovation in business, universities and research institutes, regional development organizations and chambers of commerce. In Montenegro EEN activities are implemented by a consortium consisting of: the Directorate for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, the Business Start Up Center in Bar and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Podgorica.
