Secretary General

The Secretary General shall:
- represent the Chamber in property-related and other legal transactions;
- give orders for the implementation of the financial plan of the Chamber;
- organize and control performance of administrative-technical activities in the Chamber and undertake measures for the improvement of such activities;
- perform activities delegated to him/her by the President of the Chamber;
- be responsible for the organization of meetings of the Chamber bodies and the implementation of their decisions;
- monitor legislative and other regulations relating to the activities of the Chamber and take measures for their implementation;
- give the authorization to represent the Chamber before the courts and other bodies and organizations;  
- establish working groups and commissions in making certain decisions, reports and information;
- perform other activities delegated to him/her by the President of the Chamber.

Certain activities within its competence, the Secretary General may delegate to employees in the Professional Service of the Chamber.
The Secretary General shall be appointed at the proposal of the President of the Chamber.
The Secretary General shall be appointed for a period of four years and may be reappointed to the same position. The Secretary General shall be accountable for his/her work to the Assembly and the President of the Chamber.

The Secretary General of the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro is:
Pavle D. Radovanović
He was born in 1975 in Podgorica, where he graduated from the Faculty of Law. He is the Head of the Working Group 3 for the preparation of negotiations on the accession of Montenegro to the EU for the EU acquis in the field related to the chapter - Right of establishment and freedom to provide services. He is a member of the Chairmanship of the Arbitration Court at the Adriatic and Ionian Chamber of Commerce Forum and also a member of the International Commercial Arbitration within the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro.
Legal expert of the European Agency for Reconstruction, the United Nations in the Program for the Protection of Nature, advisor of the Secretariat for Legislation of the Government are just some of the functions he had done in the past. He was a member of the negotiating team of the Government of Montenegro for the negotiation of the Free Trade Agreement in 2006 and the Free Trade Agreement with Turkey. He passed a number of training courses organized by prestigious national and international institutions. Since 2008, he has been the FIFA international football referee. He speaks English language.
He was appointed as a Secretary General of the Chamber in 2008.
