The Garmin Enduro Titanium for men and women is an advanced ultra-performance multisport watch. The technical GPS watch has been designed with ultra runners in mind; the watch for instance features a very long battery life, the possibility to customise battery use and a Power Glass lens with Solar Charging technology which helps charge the battery with solar energy. The Garmin Enduro has been specially developed to record your performances on a daily basis, even during the longest and most challenging competitions. The multi-GNSS support, the barometric altimeter and the built-in compass ensure that you stay on route. The lightweight, scratch-proof DLC titanium casing withstands the elements and is very robust. The elastic nylon watch strap is durable and easy to adjust for an optimal fit around your wrist. The Enduro contains an Always On display which not only charges the battery through sunlight, but also adapts its brightness to the sun, thereby ensuring that you can always read the display.
GPS and Heart Rate
The watch includes multi-GNSS support. This allows the built-in GPS system to communicate with various satellite systems, such as GPS, GLONASS and Galileo. As a result, your location is measured accurately, always and everywhere. The watch uses various sensors to guide your way. It features an altimeter, a barometer to keep track of the weather and a 3-axis compass. The Optical Heart Rate technology measures your heart rate very accurately at the wrist, also when going underwater during your swim.
The multisport watch has various functions that measure your performance and provide insight into them as well as into your state of fitness. For example, it provides insight into your running statistics and indicates how your body adapts to different temperatures, heights and training loads. The watch also gives you advice on your recovery, such as how long you should rest before your next workout. The PacePro feature gives you insight into your pace and provides advice for the rest of your run. The Pulse Ox sensor gives you insight into how your body adapts to height differences or during your sleep. This sensor uses light rays on your wrist and thus provides insight into how well your body absorbs oxygen.
Trail and Mountain Bike Functions
The TrailRun VO2 Max function is specially adapted to the conditions you encounter while running trail runs and measures your cardiovascular fitness. The Ultrarun App measures your ultrarun activity and advises you on when to have a rest. It also registers the time you spend at an aid station. The ClimbPro function has been specially included for trail running. This function provides you with information about upcoming height differences and distances that have to be covered. The Garmin Enduro also boasts the MTB Dynamics function. This function gives you information about every mountain bike ride you undertake. Think of how smoothly you go downhill, your riding flow and also provides insight into the difficulty of your ride. Next to all that it also advises you on which goal to achieve on your next ride.
Sport Profiles and Activity Tracking
The Garmin Enduro comes with several preloaded sport profiles. The watch has a profile for trail running, swimming, running, cycling, hiking, rowing, skiing and golf. Even when you are in snowy areas, the watch provides you with the necessary information. In addition to sports functions, the watch also performs other measurements. Take for example, the Body Battery Energy function which gives you insight into your energy level, combining data such as heart rate changes, stress, sleep and other data. Of course, the Enduro can also be synchronised with your smartphone and also allows you to receive notifications from your smartphone on your watch.
The Garmin Enduro Titanium's safety and tracking functions include accident detection and assistance. In the event of an accident, the sensors in the sports watch detect this, in combination with the connection to your phone. You can have your real-time location transmitted manually or automatically. The built-in accident detection automatically sends the data to your preset contact details.
Water Resistance and Battery Life
The multisport watch is waterproof down to 100 metres. The battery of the Garmin Enduro lasts extremely long. When GPS mode is combined with normal battery mode, the watch lasts up to 80 hours. When GPS mode is combined with the battery saving mode, the watch lasts up to 300 hours, which is considerably longer than most advanced multisport watches. In smartwatch mode with Solar Charging, the battery can even last up to 65 days. The Power Manager function allows you to set the watch in the right mode and get the most out of the battery.
