Business cooperation with the diaspora from South America


A delegation of Montenegrin immigrants - successful businessmen from South America, visited the Montenegrin Chamber and discussed the investment opportunities and economic cooperation with the President Vlastimir Golubović and representatives of local companies and institutions.

- The Argentinean business community is very interested in starting business abroad. Our desire is to start a business in Montenegro - said the head of the South American delegation Frederico Tomašević.

According to him, they want to learn more about the investment environment and conditions for starting a business.

- We represent a large number of Montenegrins who live in South America and want to be familiar with conditions in order to invest, and thus strengthen the ties with the country of their ancestors - said Tomašević.

He informed the participants that Montenegrin entrepreneurial and cultural centre was recently established in Buenos Aires in order to affirm the ties between the two countries.

- We can do a lot together to increase the foreign exchange between Montenegro and South America, not only in terms of import, but sales of high quality products from Montenegro - said the President of the Chamber Vlastimir Golubović.

He presented the macroeconomic indicators of Montenegro, the advantages in starting a business in the business zones, incentive tax rates, benefits of economic citizenship as well as the Chamber organization and activities.

He also emphasized that one of the founders and first president of the Chamber was Mr. Mićo Stijović, whose family immigrated to South America.
